sosock---topic aside, the funny thing was, they tried to get as many calls as they could in a certain time, so they figured the easiest way was a yes-no question. SO they'd say "yes or no?" Well, it was right after Lobel claimed the Red Sox fined Manny six figures, and his three-called-strikes AB against Rivera in a big situation where he didn't swing the bat contributed to it.
It is something that'd be interesting to discuss, but I don't think the Red Sox are going to do anything until the end of the season.

The Warthogs beat the Salem Avalanche tonight in 10 innings and Koby Clemens was involved in a big way in the 10th.
In the top of the inning, with 2 on and 2 out, he swung at a ball in the dirt for would-be-game-ending strike 3, but the ball got away and the runner from 3rd scored. Then Clemens went too far around 1st and the catcher tried to throw behind him but it was a bad throw and another runner scored. (that's 2)
Then in the bottom, down by 2 the Hogs get 1 back and have men at 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Guy hits a liner to RF - tie game. The runner from 2nd rounds 3rd, has to hold up when the R-fielder shoots a bullet into home. But Koby lets the ball bounce off his chest toward the dugout - runner comes in with no play - game over.
