Yes, we have lots of good memories (and the usual amount of sad ones as well). We are lucky to be moving by choice, unlike lots of people, and we are excited about the move. But still...it's the place we raised our kids, the only place they have known as home, and for us, our home for over 25 years.

That's funny---just today I read something (by pure coincidence) about how in our dreams we often return to our first home. I almost never dream about the houses I lived in as a child.
