UPI: Pedro Pitching In Red Sox Bullpen

United Press International insists that he raised his 2009 record to 3-0 by getting credit for Boston's last victory -- Sunday's 4-3 win over Tampa Bay.

As I post this, UPI has had that story up for more than 33 hours.

As much as I was pissed at Pedro when he left......it gave me a nice warm feeling reading that. Why isn't Pedro pitching somewhere, is he really holding out for 5 or 8 million?

Man, I got all excited hoping UPI was like an insider-source that saw Pedro doing a warm-up bullpen session on the off day or something. Damn.

Well you know. Pedro. Ramon. Ramirez. Martinez. They're all the same really.

Also from that article:

Brian Shouse = "Brad Shouse"

Jason Bartlett = "Jason Barrett"

Just about at the 36-hour mark now.

Jere finds errors in other UPI game stories.... and these are some of the people ragging on bloggers for alleged shoddy journalism practices.

Looks like Pedro has been dropped from the roster. Though Brian and Barrett still seem to be hanging with the dRays.

Nice catches Jere.
