In a SABR-l discussion about the record for most runs scored by both teams in an extra inning game, I found this American Association linescore, from June 28, 1882:
Cincinnati - 000 000 000 47 - 11
Baltimore - 000 000 000 40 - 4
The win gave first-place Cincinnati a 20-10 record, while Baltimore remained in the cellar at 3-24.

Has there ever been a Fibonacci score? In consecutive innings, 1 1 2 3 5 8....or at least up to 5?

I wish there was a way to search the BR/Retrosheet data base.

Since I did not know what Fibonacci was, I looked it up.

Wouldn't it start with a 0?
