What kind of crazy calendar is that? With the 30/31 on top. Is this another thing like soccer and the metric system that everyone does except USAans? It does kinda make sense, to give each day a square instead of relegating 4 dates to half-squares despite having 11 blanks available. And it saves space. And it's a dessert topping.

I was going to erase those, since there aren't any games on those days anyway, but then I didn't. (And they make me think (for a split second) that they are part of September.) I chose it because it had some red in it. I got it from here, though that one is blue. The end.

Wanna go to Detroit to watch games 3 and 4 (probably only the clincher - game 3) of the ALDS on the Monday?

I doubt the sox would need more than 1 game to win a 5 game series with Detroit.

2-0 Angels in the 6th

Make that 2-2. Sonsabitches

Unless lackey starts game 3. Then there will be a fourth game.

A possible Red Sox/Tigers game on the 3rd? ... Interesting ....

or spiders. probably a further drive.

MFY win 6-5, but Rivera comes in with 2 on and allows -- on his first pitch -- a 3-run HR. He's had a bad week.

Tim, I woke up with the song Blackbird in my head and am going to bed with it, too.

Yes.

He's serious. Yankees tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth.

We've got ourselves an ace in the hole (Pawtucket) for the bullpen come october...

What did you think I was joking about? The calendar? I've never seen one where the last days of the month are on top before this post.

I didn't know if you were joking about the calendar or not. I was just hoping you were.

It starts with "What kind of crazy calendar is that?" and pretty soon, you're Grandpa Simpson.

My bad, Kathryn!

For some reason I called you amy.

Is it not a crazy calendar? 30 and 31 come before 1! I do admit that in a world where you're limited to four rows, that's one way to do it. But my first thought was definitely that we had the last few days of Sept and that someone fucked up by leaving all this space between 31 and 1, AND thought September had 31 days.

I also messed up the number of blanks in my first comment. On a 5-row, you'd have 6 blanks and 4 dates that have to share with others. On a 6-row, you'd have 11 blanks, but no sharers. Am I still typing?

Am I still typing?

It would appear so.
